Open™, leader in BOSS (Business and Operations Support Systems) solutions development and implementation for Telcos and utilities was selected by Telefónica de Pereira for the Up-date of its software to the latest integrated OpenSmartflex™ solution, seeking improvement in its competitive position in the region through the provisioning of multiple products and services, improved management of existing and future customers and the optimization of its technological platform.
Telefónica de Pereira a joint venture with the EPM Group, is a leader in the provisioning of integrated telecommunication services in the Dosquebradas and Pereira area, providing integrated services of conventional telephony, wide band cable television subscription services and an optic fiber network for corporate telecommunications and data transmission together with high speed internet services to over 170.000 subscribers.
Telefónica de Pereira has strengthened its leadership in the area through its association with EPM. The National Commission for the Regulation of Telecommunications (Comisión Nacional de Regulación de Telecomunicaciones) rated Telefónica de Pereira as having high quality standards in customer satisfaction, with a rating of 88.4% amongst the best performing corporations. Bureau Veritas granted Telefónica de Pereira, in the year of 2000, an ISO 9001 certification.
