Telefónica del Sur (TelSur) an operator recognized by Frost & Sullivan for having one of the best convergent strategies in Latin America, supported in Open Systems’ SmartFlex platform, has successfully entered into production after having completed Phase One of the implementation of the platform.

Phase One of Telsur’s SmartFlex project, completed by the first quarter of 2009, included the management of inventories over all its networks, copper, fiber and wireless. This important step forward will enable TelSur to have a single repository for all inventories of its internal and external networks, covering all technologies and providing support to its convergent and innovative customer services strategies, recently recognized as the best in Latin America.
